Reagan Lancaster

Executive. Athlete. Cowboy.

Reagan Lancaster has spent 30 years building software companies, competing at a national level in two sports, and running a premier cutting horse operation in Texas.

Career

The Executive

Reagan Lancaster spent six years as President and CRO of i2 Technologies. When he arrived, the company was doing $2 million in annual revenue. When he left, it was $1.8 billion.

i2 grew to $1 billion in annual revenue faster than Oracle or Microsoft ever did. The company reached a $43 billion market valuation. Reagan built the sales organization, set the strategy, and ran the revenue operation that made it possible.

Before i2, he was at Oracle. Reagan built that business from $100 million to $14 billion and earned the title of #1 salesperson globally for multiple years before being promoted to Regional Vice President. Under his leadership, the organization posted 100% year-over-year revenue growth for 25 consecutive quarters, and the stock split seven times in six years. At his peak, he led more than 1,000 direct sales representatives and over 5,000 field employees worldwide. Sales & Marketing Management magazine named him Motivator of the Year and ranked his organization the number one sales team in the world across every industry.

After i2, he built Titan Ventures, was recognized as one of the top CEOs in the DFW area, and was inducted into the University of North Texas Business Hall of Fame in 2018. He has helped more than 40 startups navigate the full growth cycle, from seed capital to exit, and has been personally involved in 31 acquisitions.

Today, Reagan is available for advisory services and board membership at select technology companies through SourceTap.

Award Winning Bodybuilder

The Athlete

Reagan has completed seven Hotter Than Hell century rides, a 100-mile cycling event held annually in Wichita Falls, Texas. He has qualified for the NPC National Championships in bodybuilding 10 times.

The training required to compete at that level is the same kind of focused, long-term commitment that built the companies. Reagan does not separate the two.

The Cowboy

Lancaster Ranch is Reagan's cutting horse operation in Texas. He has been running it for more than two decades. His horses have earned more than $650,000 in rider earnings. His goal is induction into the NCHA Rider Hall of Fame.

Cutting horse competition requires patience, timing, and precision. Reading the animal and the herd is a split-second exercise. The margin for error is the same as it is in any high-stakes business decision. Reagan has been doing it for two decades.
